New Cathedral Choir CD

The new choir CD, recorded by Priory Records, entitled "Voice and Verse" is now on sale.   It's a great disc with many popular titles included: “ I was glad” and “Blest pair of sirens” by Parry; rhe popular “Vicar of Dibley” theme; Mozart’s “Ave verum”; John Rutter’s “The Lord bless you and keep you”; “Let all the world” by Vaughan Williams.........plus some lesser known items.

The disc is £10 and available from Tom Moore (contact details above) or from the Cathedral Shop if people are visiting.

The Cathedral Choir is broadcasting choral evensong on Radio 3 on Wednesday, 23rd November.  As the following Sunday is Advent Sunday, the service will not be repeated as the annual Advent Carol Service from St John's College, Cambridge is being broadcast.  The lack of a repeat should not be a problem to anyone as I know you will be all at the Cathedral for our lunch and AGM!
